We Did It

With the big server project haunting the room like a stale fart, I bit the bullet and traumatised myself with the #Plume move.

I say traumatised because honestly Plume can be a nightmare. Its a great project but it isn’t fully baked, so it can be quirky. This time at least nothing of the Plume package caused a problem, but holy shit ProgreSQL what a mother fucker.

I wanted to install using a DB on one of the frontend servers running YNH but then getting it to listen on a private IP was not really happening, then trying to import the sql file from the previous machine - pure evil - moving it to the new one - evil but more pure.

Eventually taking the zen from the universe, I declared

and just created a SSH tunnel and hoped for the best. Anyways, its running, not yet crashed and #YOLO
