Meow, I'm a cat.
For clarification I'm not a furry, I'm a cat :blobCat_evil:

Important: if one of my posts is factually incorrect, or I have a typo, or broken formatting, or *anything* about that post needs fixing: TELL ME. Unless it's CW'd as "shitpost". Thank you :3

I'm usually very exhausted in general and low-energy, so expect a lot of boosts of images/drawings I find cute, may include some boosted NSFW content behind appropriate content warnings.
I won't boost anything that is missing obvious content warnings or alt-text tho.
If you need a handy guide on useful content warnings, at the bottom of this page.
I generally fav a lot and often use it more as a read-receipt than anything else, in case you were wondering.
Considering this instance supports it (and has the best damn emote set ever) I'll extensively use reactions even if your instance doesn't support it.… you're missing out, sorry.

If you want to follow please be aware that I do often post followers-only content related to mental health and such.
For this reason I prefer to keep my follower list bot-free and may decline the request for arbitrary reasons.
If you did not make any attempt to describe yourself in your profile your request will be rejected.

I identify as gendervoid* :agender_flag: and demi :demisexual_flag: and it feels like well over ¾ of my entire bubble are trans :blahaj_holding_trans_flag: so expect a bunch of queer content too.

The rest is mostly me saying things about either mental health or tech, most often the latter one considering my diverse background in incident handling as a sysadmin (I use Gentoo, OpenBSD, and NixOS btw), my work on automation stuff (Puppet , Nix, and Ansible mostly), networking (IPv6, BGP, and OSPF), coding (Rust, Shell, and low-level messing around with syscalls in C), and the occasional praise of GDPR and copyleft licensing.

*: 64-bit pun pointer

Post-visibility and following:

I usually post public, you're free to boost/share/whatever (avoid screenshots for accessibility).
When I post unlisted it's probably to avoid it showing up in the federated timeline because I don't want to bother anyone, you're free to boost/share/whatever.

Lastly DMs; just don't share them unless you specifically got permission from *everyone* involved. Thanks.

Here's the promised list of content warnings that I pay attention to:

- nsfw: if it's NSFW use this tag, and *add* others as needed, this is the catch-all for most people out there, and I may look at or even boost these posts
- alcohol: put that tag in there if artwork shows alcohol even if it's just a bottle standing around or you're talking about the consumption, I will then ignore that post entirely as if it didn't exist, thank you
- smoking: see alcohol
- politics: for when you talk about politics
- mh: mental health, optionally followed by a number of minus or plus signs to indicate direction (e.g. mh- for posts about negative mental health, mh++ for posts about very positive mental health)
- ph: physical health, like mental health (i.e. optionally ph+ or ph-)
- lewd/kinky: often in combination with "nsfw" describes the content is of sexual nature (e.g. lewd puns)
- death: discussing this topic on public timelines may make people uncomfortable, use the CW

Dragonfox Sophie :therian: @littlefox@gotosocial-dev.svc.0x0a.network

Building clouds, crashing servers, writing my own OS and tinkering with electronics. I'm also quite (species-, gender-, sexuality- and neuro-)queer and go by either she/her or they/them (both singular and plural!) pronouns.

Apparently an old and wise dragon, granting wisdom and advice around queer and/or polyam topics. Quoting a friend:

This is like "can you fix my wifi" but for poly queers hahahahha

Someone decided it be a good idea to make me tech lead for Kubernetes stuff at my employer and I somehow have commits in Kubernetes and UEFI, while also having commit access to LLVM - I'm really not quite sure how that happened 🙃

I usually write alt texts for media I post and at least think twice before boosting any non-alt-texted media.

You might know my other account at @LittleFox, but that is mastosoc and I don't really use it anymore. Because I'm running a single-user instance (that btw was never meant to be my "productive" instance), you might not see any posts from me without going to my profile on my instance directly - federation is always working perfectly, except when it isn't for any weird edge case ^^

Call me Mara, Sophie, Luna or Saphira! Or find any of the bonus names also working :o)
